Tony Portell is a local pastor, Fire Department Chaplain, Counselor, and best-selling author.
Tony has been deployed by FEMA, the Red Cross, and the Indiana Mental Health Crisis Response Team to work with first responders and victims of natural and artificial crises. He holds an MA in Counseling and is a Certified Mental Health Coach and Trauma Specialist.
Working with traumatized people for 40 years, Tony set out to understand the link between trauma, neuroscience, and the ancient wisdom of the Bible. His research and field experience led to his book No Longer Stuck.
He founded Helping Others Heal to assist those stuck in past trauma and equip mental health coaches to serve those in need.
